My mother and grandmother both used stainless steel measuring cups in the kitchen when I was growing up. They were dented and well loved with cute wooden handles and I adore this style of measuring cup now that I am an adult with a kitchen of my own. Plastic measuring cups just don't cut it for me. You can buy metal measuring cups via vintage stores of course but some clever manufacturers have revived them and you can buy new as well. Just say no to plastic when baking and measuring.
